The original watercolors
on this site, listed as currently
available, are subject to frequent change and to limited availability since each
is an original (separate work of art) and therefore one-of-a-kind. I use
mostly transparent watercolor and it is rare for me to use white
paint. I can't say that I never use white paint, but it doesn't occur very
often. Most of my larger watercolors are on 300 lb. rag paper. One
or two are on watercolor board. The smaller works are frequently on 140
lb. I do have some works that are on watercolor board that are varnished and do
not require framing under glass because they are protected by the varnish.
I have more original watercolors than are presented on this
web site. I do some works that are designated to be published in print form and the originals are
not placed on the market for a long time, if ever. (I sometimes save
certain pieces for myself, my family or my friends. No, that doesn't mean
they didn't sell, they have indeed, never been for sale.) I have placed several
different originals 'up for adoption' at this time. I also do many
watercolors that are sold before I can put them up here. So if you have an
interest in owning an original you might consider emailing me to learn what is available
at your point of interest. It will benefit us both if you will specify
what subject matter, size and budget range.
To discuss the purchase of an original please e-mail me with your telephone
number and time zone and the time of day you prefer to receive a call.
I will
call you as soon as possible. Sometimes I am traveling and my email is not
accessible, so it may take a day or two for me to receive your message. I
ask for your patience if you don't hear from me immediately.
