SOUTHWEST ART - Gardens

"FLORAL ABUNDANCE"- LIMITED EDITION

Southwest art often shows a lot of gardens.  We have the climate to grow beautiful flowers for at least part of the year until the heat burns them out.  In some higher altitudes, the flowers last all summer.  Our lower desert is not barren, and is capable of growing flowers with a little help with the water delivery.    I found a gardener working in Taos, New Mexico, he had too many plants for the amount of garden, and had left these in the wheelbarrow, and they were content to grow just as they were.  The hollyhocks behind lent a 'floral bouquet' feel to the scene and I left it just as it was.  This is a limited edition, signed and numbered, limited to 50 images.
